Josiane (* click for photo !) was born in the same beautiful town like Mozart, which alone should be stimulating enough to attempt achieving greatness. However, fairly soon an early boyfriend introduced her to the magnificientTom Waits, who from then on took up the top male idol position in her life (until what was meant to be a three month exchange program in USA ended in marriage to Mungo from the land of the Cleves).
Following her need for self-expression she entered an education as a ceramist, a profession that would also apply to her love for all kinds scientific, although that should not mean that she'd excell in those.
Instead, early enough she understood that to feel truly fulfilled she needed multiple perspectives on an object of her interest, which led to an ongoing research trip through various countries, cultures and also professions.
During this quest she got into several relationships, fights and other uncomfortable situations, but luckily also obtained a State Diploma as ceramist in Bavaria, an MA of Fine Arts in England, a Postgraduate Diploma as a Painter in Scotland, and picked up a few awards in various disciplines.
Unexpectedly she found a second home in Japan, namely in Kyoto, which experts agree on being the most beautiful city in the world, a fact that does not exclude the inspiration for countless cartoons and social critical comics on it.
Now she is jumping continents with her family, documenting her impressions in cartoons and collaborating in comics together with Mungo.
